I have a few pet peeves, most of which I'd forgotten over the years. But recently I remembered one of 'em. I hate, hate, hate chain mail. It is so irritating!!! Mail that's been forwarded either tons of times or mail that tell you your grandmother's gonna die if you don't send it to someone else you know. How lame can people get?! I used to get really pissed off with my old e-mail address 'cause it had this strange gravitation towards spam and junk. If I left my inbox alone for a month, I'd have over a hundred e-mails. Most of 'em all crap. Well anyway, I don't like stupid and pointless e-mails so I don't even give them a second glance. Delete! :)

I'm not like other girls...
I'm not like other girls
Who always feel so sure
Of everything they are
Of what they gonna be
Sometimes I'm just a girl
Who's stuck inside of me
I love these lyrics from The Veronicas' song 'Hook Me Up'. I can relate. It seems as if everyone's so sure of what they're doing, who they're going to be, and how they're gonna get there. The people I meet are so hardworking and driven, that I'm almost always left feeling like my life is headed nowhere. I have no direction and it's hard when the people around you talk about it and try to get you going. Life just gets harder and harder, never easier! Well, for people like me I mean...

Sooo, it's a holiday...
Sooo, it's a holiday and everyone's at home. I helped my mum cut garlic and now my hands smell. *holds nose* My brothers have all been gaming the entire day. I'm like being bombarded with radiation or something. All three computers are on plus the TV is blasting with Star Wars music. @.@ *sways* You should come visit me sometime. :P It'd be like.. chaotic. XD

I just got this...
I just got this from the supermarket downstairs.. ain't it just adorable?! I love the little monkey. :) I am going to cut him out and stick him on my laptop. He'll make a good friend for my bunny. (I have this cute bunny stuck on top of my screen.) This is the first thing I've bought in a looooong time. I get fifty bucks a month and I've saved up a hundred - you can all gape in amazement now. Haha, it's probably 'cause there's nothing much to buy here except for FOOD. Which, by the way, is totally NOT helping my eating healthy routine. T.T

I went jogging yesterday...
I went jogging yesterday... on my balcony! Yes, that's right - on my balcony. Let me elaborate... Most times, Joshua doesn't want to go jogging and since he won't go, I can't go. The reason? Fast cars, perverts, kidnappings, paranoid parents! In short, he has to chaperone me. So since my balcony is like, gigantic! I figured I could do some laps out there. :P And that's how I ended up jogging on the balcony with my little brother. :) Anyway, it's late now and I'd better hit the hay. See ya!

We went to the beach today!
We went to the beach today! - got sand in our slippers and everything. :) *points at the picture* I also managed to get a shot of a plane passing by. (We get to see planes up close quite often since we're on an island and many fly over it.) Anyway, I painted my nails last night and slept at one in the morning. Pretty stupid huh? Ahh, panda eyes...

Download the album!
Download the album from whence this song came! I promise you won't regret it. Well, you will if you don't like this sort of music but whatever. Highly recommended...

One of the saddest things...
One of the saddest things about moving here is there aren't any bookstores. Can you imagine? I've noticed everyone here hardly reads. Sigh, I need literature to feed my starving brain. If anyone wants to mail me anything, send me booooooks!!! ;D I've nothing else to do. Boredom takes over and Rachel is powerless! Bah, all I do is stare at my laptop screen all day, aimlessly wading through eight gigabytes of music. T.T At least I have my internet back. Dad's a pig - always stealing the modem without telling me anything! Oh, and I think I'm going a little crazy - all my music sound the same to me. I never endlessly replay the same song over and over again like I used to. I hardly guess song titles anymore. Most of the time I look depressed. Yikes, what's happening to me? @.@

Guess what?
Guess what? I've changed my screen name! I didn't really like any of my past ones because they were always made up in such a hurry. So this time, I took my time and thought of a meaningful name that I really liked and could stick to. Therefore, I have come up with the unique name, poxymonkey!!! I got the word poxy from a book I read once and started using it obsessively until I got sick of it. (It really is a word apparently.) Monkey is for well, you know. ;) I'm not making a new blog just because I'm sick and tired of the old one or because I'm a perfectionist so I'm really proud of myself. I actually stuck to one blog for quite a while. :P Although, some of you may have had your blogs for years, I believe changing things up once in while is a good thing. Motivation!!! LOL... All that said, having a blog is a good way to keep in touch with your friends. And since mine are all a whole plane ride away, it just makes sense. T.T Missing everyone...
