__It's not that I have nothing to blog about, it's just laziness. :)
__We all got our phones back last Friday. Well, not
all of us. I didn't take mine back until today. Don't ask me why, 'cause I don't know. Now my phone's even more scratched because it was in my mum's bag for a few days. =.=|| It's a
jungle in there. Anyway, after we got our phones back (in the car after they picked us up from school) we headed straight over to Ikea, where my dad verbally abused their staff because of a faulty lamp they had bought.
__They (my parents) then proceeded to enter Ikea and buy
more of their furniture after saying Ikea is rubbish about a thousand times. =.=|| =.=|| =.=|| I was actually tremendously depressed while all this was happening because I had started
thinking about things again. You all know how
that always ends up.
__But it was fine 'cause later when we were at the cashier, Jared pushed me up and down one of Ikea's many long aisles in one of those huge, flat trolleys and then round and round till I was dizzy. That cheered me up. :) It was like a mini rollercoaster. Wheeee! I'm so doing that again the next time we go there. Which we're probably never going to do since after we came out of Ikea, my dad again announced that Ikea is total rubbish. I do not get them
at all.
__Since everyone was hungry, we headed to The Curve to eat something- I ended up eating prawn mee for the fourth time that week. I don't mind! I
love it and could eat it every single day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for an entire month. Not a year though. >.>
__Naturally after having already visited the other two malls in the three-mall-connection, we went to Ikano Power Centre. That was when I heard the familiar strains of a
ukulele. (I adore the sounds that come out of this instrument. Sometimes I even like it better than the guitar. After the saxophone, the ukulele is my next fave instrument. :P) The next thing I saw was a woman sitting on the floor playing said instrument, plus a guy on her right with really cool dreadlocks playing a bongo. It sounded good. Then, oh! She started singing in Japanese. In my head I was going, too bad Jaryl isn't here to see this!! Sigh. Haha. Turns out they were the 'Bonyari Band', a group of Japanese musicians that backpack to various parts of Malaysia in order to play their unique music for others to enjoy. On this day in particular, they were playing for the
JustLife Earth Day Carnival. It's being held at Ikano from the 16th of April till the 26th. Go check it out if you have the time. They have some pretty cool stuff there. :)
__The first song I heard the Bonyari Band play was 'Kono Hoshi No Ue', and it was divine! The other songs were
okay as I don't usually listen to their genre of music, but I liked the first one I heard the most. They performed three or four songs I think. The Bonyari Band is supposedly composed of five or six members but the only ones that were there were Sada and Kiko. I think they're husband and wife. (The woman's name is Kiko and the guy's name is Sada.) After they had finished performing one of their songs, a caucasian woman (which I think was their manager) came out with a little cupcake with candles stuck in it. Apparently it was Sada's birthday.. so everyone sang Happy Birthday for him. Lols.
__Their album was for sale for RM10 and we got one. And after their little performance, Josh got their autographs. (Apparently, it was their first time giving autographs.) And it so happened that I had a green Sharpie marker I had just bought. Yeesh man, what a coincedence. Green Sharpie markers for Earth Day autographs. LOL.
__In case you totally don't get anything I'm saying, I found another blog article about them performing there and you can read that. :) Click
here. If you still want some more info, click
here.
__Here come the pictures, pictures, pictures.... (Josh took a video but I didn't upload it. :0)
"Sada on the left, Kiko on the right. Kiko is prettyyy."
"The rest of the cover is.. um.. censored."
"Starry scribbles."
"It's a smiley!!"
"Track No. 4 is my fave. :)"
P.S.
I may have left some stuff out + next post will be full of manicures. Skip it if you're a guy. xD
