Why does everything seem better when you're little? I want it all back. The butterflies I'd get when we wake up early in the morning to drive to the airport. Waking our parents up on Christmas day to ask whether we could open presents. Decorating the tree - oh, that was FUN! My dad would put on Christmas tunes and we'd all be laughing and playing with all the funny ornaments. I miss it all so much! This year there's no tree, no ornaments, no laughter, just us. To me (the pessimist), Christmases get worse by the year. You get older, the TREE gets older, and we all forget how to enjoy the simple things in life. So one by one the butterflies, the excitement, and childlike wonderment all disappear. It's sad, really. Anyway, I thought you might like some Christmas music for the holidays 'cause I myself simply LURVE Christmas songs. ;)
